MoneyMate - Expense Tracking
An expense tracker that sorts spending into categories and shows, per category, how you are doing against your budget.

Overview
The challenge
Tracking money tends to fail in one of two ways: a spreadsheet you stop updating after two weeks, or budgeting software that asks for more than most people want to give.
The solution
MoneyMate keeps it small. You add an expense, it lands in a category, and the app shows how each category is doing against its budget, with an alert before you go over. The insights are simple on purpose.
What it does
- Expenses sorted into categories, with your own tags
- Budgets per category and an alert before you overshoot
- A breakdown of where the money actually went
- Data stored in Firebase Firestore
What it gets you
- Know where the money went without a spreadsheet
- Spot the categories that quietly grow
- A budget you notice before the month ends, not after
Screens
